Every donated WHITE wedding gown has to withstand the Angel Gown process. Our mission is for all Angel Baby families to have something beautiful. In order for us to do this successfully, please consider the questions listed on the side here regarding your wedding gown. If you answer Yes TO AT LEAST 4 OF THESE QUESTIONS, then please send us an email with a photo of your wedding gown to the email address listed below and the answers to these questions and we will contact you back, advising you if your gown will meet the needs of the HBA program. THE GOWN MUST BE WHITE IN COLOR.

We rely heavily on the generosity of those wishing to make a monetary donation to help sustain our program and services. We have been in operation for 7 years and over that time, the cost of the materials and shipping charges have risen dramatically. We must purchase many items that the donated gowns do not provide for us to create the infant bereavement ensemble such as needles, threads, Velcro, ribbon, yarn for the blankets, hats and booties, printing, stamps, labels, cellophane bags, business cards and website charges. These everyday operating costs deplete much of our funding which ends up leaving our volunteers to pay for their own materials needed and services we use. Over the years in operation, we have serviced 107 hospitals in 27 states with 11,670 infant bereavement items. There is never a charge for our donations to the families or the hospitals. 100 percent of all monetary donations received go to the HBA program and will allow us to continue to help those families that should need our services.

YES, but your gown must meet the requirements set forth by the hospitals. The material MUST BE OF A HEAVY WHITE SATIN that when you place your hand under the material, you can not see your hand through it. It must be free of any odors. The gown needs to be white or off white with no stains.
Once your wedding gown has been approved for acceptance, there are two ways you can donate your gown to us. You can ship it us, at your cost, by USPS or UPS or any other shipping carrier of your choice. You do not need to ship in the original box. You can roll the gown and place it into a much smaller box. If your gown has netting underneath, you can remove that and discard as we do not use that and then the gown will fit in a much smaller box. There is no need to send the veils, we do not use them.
If you are near our location in Galloway NJ, you are welcome to drop it off in person. Our address, contact information and map is located on the HOME page. Gown drop offs are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
We ask that you include your name, address and email address when giving us your wedding gown donation. We do not share your information, it is for our own personal use when your gown is completed to contact you by email. Your gown, upon arrival, is assigned a number. When that number comes up in our processing rotation, it will be assigned to a seamstress assistant who will take the gown apart and prepare the material for the seamstress. When the seamstress assistant is completed, the gown will then go to the next available seamstress who will create the infant bereavement items from the material provided. Those outfits created by the seamstress will then be matched up with blankets, hats, booties and a memory bag. They will all be sealed in a cellophane bag and placed into our inventory for the next shipment. We will send you an email letting you know that your wedding gown has been completed. This entire process could take up to 6 months or longer as the volunteers work in the comfort of them own homes at their own leisure time.
